The Chumash Day Powwow and Intertribal Gathering was held this weekend at Malibu Bluffs Park, in Malibu. The event features Chumash Inter-Tribal Singers, and hundreds of Native Americans representing tribes from all over the country. Many of the Indians wear colorful regalia while dancing in a sacred circle they formed that overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
